Friends of Victoria Park will hold the ninth annual Victoria Park Lantern Festival Saturday, July 25. Lantern workshops go ahead at the Anna Templeton Centre from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. July 13, and Eastern Edge Art Gallery Wednesday, July 15 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. This is all in addition to our regularly scheduled open workshops on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Victoria Park. The Latin mass community in St. John's has announced that the celebration of the traditional Latin mass will take place weekly on Sundays at 8:30 a.m. at Mercy Convent Chapel, 170 Military Rd., with parking at Basilica of St. John the Baptist.
